Information & Facts
What is Kefir ?
Kefir has recently become one of the hottest superfoods on the market. Kefir is a fermented milk drink, made from a combination of bacteria and yeast fermentation. It originally hails from the Caucasus area (the mountainous region dividing Asia and Europe). It is usually made from cow’s milk, but can also be made from goat or sheep’s milk, as well as non-dairy milk such as soy or coconut. It tastes tart and a little sour, similar to yogurt and, because of the fermentation process.
High in nutrients and probiotics, Kefir is very beneficial for digestion and gut health. Many people consider it to be healthier than yogurt. Some studies have found that kefir is generally well tolerated by people with lactose intolerance.
SYNTEK™ thorough Probiotics Optimizing Development System
AB Kefir is developed by Synbio Tech Inc. using a unique synbiotic fermentation process known as the SYNTEK™ thorough Probiotics Optimizing Development System.
SYNTEK™ thorough is an innovative manufacturing process to maximize production efficiency of probiotics which has up to 100 production matrixes and over 60 quality control checkpoints
Through a series of systematically improving processes by the specialized fermentation, patented coating and freeze-drying technology, probiotic strains are not only significantly enhanced the stability, viability and gastric acid/bile salt tolerance, but also adhesive ability in intestines and immune-modulation.
SYNTEK thorough has
- increased stability
- enhanced colonization
- improved efficiency
Outstanding performance of SYNTEK thorough
High stability for 24 months
Postbiotic - The Unsung Heroes of Our Health
Postbiotics is a relatively new term coined to refer to the metabolic by-products of those probiotic bacteria. In short, postbiotic metabolites are the biochemical compounds created by probiotics to protect and restore our bodies.
Types of postbiotic include:
1. Short-chain fatty acids, SCFAS
Regulate immune cells to boost immunity; improve gut microbiota and provide energy to increase metabolism
2. Various nutrients
Vitamin B group, amino acid, organic acid
3. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs)
Natural antibiotics that inhibit the growth of bad bacteria
4. Active enzyme
Help digest fiber
5. Hydrogen peroxide
Inhibit the growth of pathogens
AB Kefir contains a variety of metabolites including:
- Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, and folic acid: Involves in the regulation of the cell metabolism and energy production
- Organic acid: Organic acids play a crucial role in numerous metabolic processes
- Essential amino acids: Cannot be synthesized by the human, and therefore must be supplied in the diet
- Water-soluble polysaccharide: Takes part in various biochemical reactions within the cell.
- Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs): A group of three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine and commonly benefit to boost muscle growth and enhance exercise performance
28 free amino acids in AB Kefir
Formulated to Improve Gut Microbiota And Increase Good Bacteria
